Samuel Hudson , M.D. - Orthopedic SurgeonSpecial Interest in Knee Injuries and Disorders Doctor Hudson is currently the Medical Director for Brazosport Regional's Orthopedic Center of Excellence. Recently, Brazosport Regional Health System received the Joint Replacement Specialty Award for 2010.
Dr. Hudson, a general orthopedic surgeon, has a special interest in knee injuries and disorders, including knee replacement. Other services include hip replacement, knee and shoulder arthroscopic surgery, sports injuries, fractures, rotator cuff surgery, and carpal tunnel surgery.
A native of Texas born in Austin, he grew up in Goldthwaite, Texas. He attended Rice University and graduated from medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He then completed his internship and residency at John Peter Smith in Fort Worth.
Dr. Hudson practiced orthopedics for over 18 years in Fort Worth, Texas, before relocating to Lake Jackson, Texas. Brazosport Regional proved to be exceptionally forward-thinking in terms of providing new technology. Dr. Hudson uses computer navigation to perform knee replacement. Dr. Hudson is a member of the American Medical Association, the Texas Medical Association and the Texas Orthopedic Association. |
